The South Florida Chapter is very excited to have Mr. Michael E. Thorn as the speaker for the August dinner meetings.

Michael holds a PMP and Six Sigma Master Black Belt certifications and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Project Management, Systems Analysis and Design, Management, Economics, and Statistics as an Adjunct Associate Professor for Central Michigan University and the University of Phoenix.

Michael regularly prepares and delivers articles and presentations on project management topics to various local and national organizations e.g., PMI Global Congress - North America, Acord Loma Insurance Systems Forum, Society for the Advancement of Management and the South Florida CIO Council).

Michael will be discussing the intricacies involved in managing projects in a Six Sigma environment.
