Broward Chapter Dinner Meeting Print

Another year is ending so make sure that you do not miss the South Florida Chapter final meeting for 2007.  We are very excited to have Lara Chabina-Crowe as our speaker.  Lara has over twenty years of travel industry experience with over ten years specializing in the airline industry.  Lara was certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Frankfurt Germany as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2003.  Lara is the Managing Director of Global PM Group where she was Project Manager for Star Alliance Services GmbH (a global airline alliance made up of 15 airlines) based in Frankfurt, Germany.  She was responsible for developing the first global convention product, implementing national and global marketing initiatives, and spearheading the development of a social program for the Star Alliance employees. 

Lara will be discussing the values associated with being an entrepreneur Project Manager.  From this session you will leave with several practical project management techniques that can be applied immediately, while highlighting new entrepreneurial approaches to project management.  Lara will share ways of establishing project portfolios, managing projects in a virtual environment, ensuring team involvement and commitment and having fun while doing it!!!!


In keeping with the spirit of the season please bring a new unwrapped toy to the event. The toy drive will help ChildNet.  ChildNet's mission is to protect Broward County's abused, neglected and abandoned children, to assure their safety and to promptly provide them with a permanent, loving home.
