** Among the reasons that the Chapter may cancel an event include, but are not limited to; insufficient enrollment, venue problems, speaker no-show, inclement weather, natural disaster, or other unscheduled risks such as acts of nature. Notification of the re-scheduled or cancelled event will be communicated via an email broadcast. ++

Refund Policy: The Chapter general refund policy is as follows. However, any specific event may require a unique refund policy. Check your registration email++ for your event’s cancellation and refund policy, which may supersede this policy.

• Full Refund (100%): Granted for payments rendered when the event is cancelled by the PMI South Florida Chapter.
• Partial Refund: Granted for requests received more than 1 week prior to the event, or for multi-date events, more than 1-week prior to the first day of the event. Partial refunds are granted in the amount of the registration fee less (minus) a service fee of 10%, or $5.00, whichever is more.
• NO Refund: Requests made less than 1 week before the day of the event are not eligible for a refund.

Substitution Policy: Substitutions are not permitted unless expressly stated on the event’s registration page. Only the registrant whose name appears in the receipt may attend the event, and only that event, for which he or she has registered. If a registered event permits substitutes, the policy stated for that event overrides this policy. Please read your event’s policy for substitutions. IMPORTANT: Please be sure that the event registrar marks your original attendee’s name as substituted, at the registration desk, and that you receive any appropriate certificates as proof of attendance.
