We collect and manage information via online forms and through the use of cookies. For example, we may store data in order to manage a username and password assigned to you. Subscription to mailing lists requires the use of a visitor's e-mail address for delivery of the newsletter.  A visitor who registers for events or training provides information that we use to verify ownership of credit cards and match purchasers with those who appear for events. 

How do we use your personal information?

If you submit personal information, you agree that we may store and manage this information as described. These records are strictly for internal use by PMI South Florida Chapter. Information collected is used to fulfill sales contract obligations. For example, we may provide your name and address to a publisher or other supplier who will ship a book, a CD, or other product you purchase from PMI South Florida Chapter.  Secondly, we will use your e-mail address to provide you with notification of event dates, the rescheduling of an event, or other information. Your personal information may also assist us in improving your experience as you visit our website. Thirdly, if you pay for services by credit or bankcard, we must provide your information to the bankcard company to process your order.

Cookies are small files that contain alphanumeric identifiers that enable our system to provide a personalized experience. Our cookies information gives us the possibility to improve our level of services to clients and visitors. For example a cookie is attached to a username and password registration so that we can identify our clients. This also helps us to guard against duplicate orders.
